Okay I am so gonna frickin regret this tomorrow. But that's tomorrow. Let's finish this today! (If only I was that enthusiastic about my homework, my life would be so much better T-T.)

I have a lot of moles on my body and a lot of scars. There is one from chickenpox right upper part of my face near the hairline but it's healed quite well. -looks at body- Well, they seem to have healed pretty well over the years so nothing too big T^T

The only thing I'm scared of choosing the wrong career path. I actually don't know what lies ahead of me because I can't decided on what I want to do although the default is Accounting. I'm just downright scared :x

Working. Dating. Because I've never had a bf even though ppl tell me I'm not that bad (appearance-wise and personality-wise).

6. If you could see into the brain of any one person at this exact moment, who would it be?

Although I would want to really know what ~~my husband~~ Changmin is thinking at the moment, I think it'd be a wiser choice to pick my aunt instead. The nice one who always seemed to know what to do in every situation we've encountered. She's not even 50 years old yet but she sounds like a 100 year old wise women. Sersly, what does go on in her brain?!

MAU IN PAIN!

Today was the second time in my life that I got my teeth plucked...And today's one hurts like a bitch.

I didn't eat or drink anything from 12AM ~~yesterday~~ this morning even though I slept at like frickin 2AM. Woke up at 7AM and didn't get to eat breakfast (I missed breakfast so much T-T!)

Got to the dentist's at 8AM exact and I was too sleepy at that time to be nervous.

They gave me laughing gas. Wasn't even funny. And the assistant had to add more inside because the normal wasn't enough to make me sleep even though I was sleepy. HAHAHAHA! She hooked me up to the pressure thingy (you know the one where they put around your arm and it tries to squeeze the shit out of you?). The assistant also put this little clamp on my index finger. LOL I could hear my heartbeat going so fast! Was crazy~!

Mr Dentist came in, asked if I was alright. Was feeling floaty and could hardly respond. It was like someone had tied my limbs with weights. I could still move but it felt like slow-mo...Then he started wiping the numbing thing on my gums. I'm really sensitive so I gag easily. He asked if it bothered me. I didn't respond ('cept for gagging) and he took it away. So he was like "Okay then we'll just do without it," and starts injecting the anesthetic. That's kinda the part I hate the most because I can't stand the needle going into my gums.
I thought he'd only do it once but homg, it poked me like 5 more times on the upper gums. Gyuh I wanted to smack that thing out of his hand RAWR. Since my chin wasn't numb enough, they left me ~~to die~~ for a while. I was poking my chin for fun until it started numbing.

I shall skip the whole process of taking out the teeth. Only words to describe it are: pulling, tugging, drilling (ZZZTTTT!), cracking, and some pain. Yes, one of my teeth was close to a nerve. Shit, he tried to use the clamp thing on me to keep my mouth open. I kept gagging and he said, "You have to open bigger if not we aren't able to continue this surgery." It was a frickin THREAT. Damn him. I complied T^T
He stitched it. Although I didn't want to see it, I caught a glimpse of something in his hands.

Was bleeding like mad. I could hardly swallow. Using my phone, I typed 'can i have my teeth' for the assistant to see. She said it came out in fragments so they had to put it into a container. Well, bye bye my dear teeth. Was fun knowing ya guys.

When I got home, my mom made noodles for me. Boiled it real soft and chopped it up. I tried eating it, like tried to chew, but I ended up swallowing everything. Took me TWO HOURS to eat the noodles. LOL WTF. That is the slowest I had ever eaten in my life! And the ants were even beating me to my food T^T

I took the medicine and spent the whole day loitering on LJ and found a gazillion more movies to watch TEEHEE. I was also making leis for the conference tomorrow. I've made THREE so far. Still need FIVE more to go T^T And I ran out of ribbon so Mama is going to go to Ben Franklin's craft shop to get some more. I hope she didn't get stuck with the cash register again D:

I took a nap and when I woke up, my mouth was hurting like crazy. I asked Dad to make some porridge/congee (the REALLY mushy one...I think it's congee) for me with bits of salmon burger patty inside. Tasted so good but it hurt to eat. I couldn't stand it and ate a painkiller after eating a bit. And now the pain has gone away but the food had turned cold T^T

Sigh. Life really sucks when you can't eat.

Well it was really exciting today. We were expecting quite a number of ppl but in the end, only two girls from Chaminade came. Sadded.

The setting up in the morning was the most hectic but after that we were running smooth.

Okay I'm lying. My life isn't that interesting.

Anyways.

School. I nearly died this week from lack of sleep. And no, it's not because I was hardworking enough to stay up to one or two in the morning to work on homework and whatnot. Instead, I've been hell of a slacker and watched too many movies and shows and stuff... ~~That reminds me. I have to go download another episode!~~ I stop doing work and just watch and forget about time. Gyuh.

And I'm getting my wisdom teeth extracted tomorrow!

That's one hell of a week!

I managed to catch up on most of my stuff though. But it's going to be a busy weekend again! Heugh, but the lack of sleep killed me. I was supposed to go to the office for work on Tuesday at three after class, but I saw my friend in the student lounge and it just got too comfortable and I feel asleep and I didn't wake up till work had already ended. T____Tb Good job huh?

Oh, and our family went to pay our respects to my great-grandfather for Qing Ming Jie. It was pretty good; my baby cousins are all so cute! And they've grown up so much! Too bad the pictures are in my mom's camera. If not I'd post one of them. He's just adorable. Doesn't speak much though D: Sadly, he doesnt call me 'sister' yet >.<

It's frickin 12.31 AM and I don't know what to do (homework is not an option) while waiting for Kung Fu Dunk to finish downloading.

Well last week was pretty eventful. On April 1st, the Rotaract Club went to Flatbread in Paia (the Hippie town!) to eat. It was their fundraiser night and our club managed to apply for it. USD$3.50 would be given for each pizza sold.

There was a bunch of ~~hippies~~ who stole our big table for their party. They were wearing pretty funky hats. There was a moose and a piece of cheese. There was this guy getting really uhm funky with one the ladies. His hand was going up her shirt wtf. We were cracking up at them for no particular reason.

Leika was on crack even though she didn't drink. It was amazing. She would make the weirdest remarks. T^Tb

We surprised April with a birthday cake and lei, even though her birthday was the next day. The cake was written with her self proclaimed Hawaiian name, Kanani. She was really touched. Her face was completely O_________O the whole time. I never knew someone could be so surprised/shocked. And Tim was even implying that we didn't know it was her birthday the whole time. Maybe that's why. ^^

The waitresses were really helpful and we gave the one serving us a piece of cake before we left. We got to see the kitchen too!

Japanese Midterm on the same day in the morning. I really studied this time. I got full marks on the negative/polite forms of adjectives wooh! It sounded like I was talking to myself the whole time I was practising. Guess that paid off ^^

Got the test back on Thursday. Was a bit disappointed ~~because I didn't get full marks~~.

Had pizza on Wednesday because it was Accounting Exam Review week. I think I've eaten so much pizza, it's equivalent to all the pizza I've ever eaten in my life in just these two months alone. But Costco piza is so good! ^^b

Finally organised my fat ass binder! People cannot believe I carry that thing around. My bag is just as heavy without the binder in my way. It's good for muscle of training T^T

Hawaiian Portugese Joke

Sorry if this is really racist but it's a funny joke for the open-minded.

A beefy Portugese lady comes aboard a flight to Las Vegas. She's early so she sits in Business Class. A female flight attendant requests to see her ticket, and the lady hands it over with hesitation.

However, the lady is supposed to be sitting in Coach (Economy Class) and requests kindly for her to move to her rightful section.

The lady refuses to budge yet the female flight attendant is frightened by her size and thus rushes for a male colleague.

When the male flight attendant comes over, he asks the lady to do the same thing.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry but you need to move to the back because this is Business Class, not Coach."

The lady is fed up and retorts, "Then whatchu gonna do? Move me?"

The male flight attendant shakes his head and walks to the pilot cabin for the captain.

"Captain, there seems to be a problem; a lady who belongs in Coach refuses to move from Business class."

The captain, also a Portugese man, looks at the male flight attendant and reassures him, "Don't worry, I'll take care of this." With that, he proceeds to the lady. When he has reached her seat, the captain bends down and whispers into the lady's ear. When the captain leaves, the lady makes her way into Coach section quietly.

All the flight attendants are amazed. They ask the captain, "So what did you say to her?"

The captain says casually, "I just told her that Business Class doesn't go to Las Vegas. Only Coach."

I'm such a lazy ass! Didn't update last week before school started D:
But I did try to keep my committment of updating either weekly or fortnightly! HEEHEE XD

School started on Monday and I thought I was just going to DIE. Classes on Monday and Wednesday are from 0900 to 1445! And I only had a 25 minute break in between to gooble up some food for lunch. Wednesday wasn't so lucky and I didn't even get to eat anything D:
Business technology (BUSN 151) wasn't so bad since all we learn is Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint so it's not much of a problem for me. And I love sitting in the front even though I have a bad habit of sleeping in that teacher's class LOL. But I dont think he minds that much. I always hand in my work and answers his questions whenever possible ;D

Then there's Japanese (JPNS 101). This week's Japanese class has been AWESOME. I love Japanese class. I made friends with two people so far (I sounds kinda pathetic) and people already think I'm some kind of smart ass because I can answer questions. But that's all thanks to the Dongs and for reading the text book hehe.
And it's everyday so there's something to look forward to everyday ^^

Accounting caused the most problems for me. At first I was planning to take Acct 125 but the class got cancelled because of low enrollment so I had to take Acct 201 which is a combination of Acct 124 and Acct 125. Since I had already taken Acct 124 during the Spring semester with that same teacher I was planning to take Acct 201 with, I got an override from her on my account and got into her class. But the classes timing fit only into my lunch slot. I went to the class on the first day and it was full. Too full. There were some people who even had to sit on the table D:
I hardly survived that first class D: Haha but during the second class, a guy named Josiah sat next to me and I shared my accounting book with him. He looked kinda nerdy and was tall and lanky and his hair was so omgclassic. Hahah but he was like smart. And I felt stupid next to him because I had forgotten all my Accounting rules haha.
Too bad I wont get to see him again because I could'nt take the timing for the class and changed to the night class. I felt better taking that class because it was more quiet and there was less people. Haha goodbye Mr Josiah! AHAHA! (Did I mention he's quite good-looking? ;D)

History: Teacher talked too fast. Fell asleep during her class. D:

Art: I dont like it. Or more like I dont like the people. End of story.

School is so exhausting but I got my paycheck this week! Whee! I got quite an amount for the amount of work I did over the summer. Ahaha more Dong stuff for me ;D

There are more people on campus this year. Hehe, more eye candy ne ^^ But I've not met any targer yet. Sad...

Ahh I've been so lazy with the Dongs. But I did manage to download like 35 videos yesterday with a Quick Download coupon! The boys are just absolutely adorable. The way Junsu says "要疼我哦!" is so shy and cute! They have a lot to work on for Chinese but they've improved some with their greeting. But they're Chinese, is just too cute. ;D

Eehee, this week has been so upside down and...summery? It has just the right feeling of summer. ^^

Thursday
I had my finals on Thursday and I think for the few times in my life, I forced myself to sleep at 10 and woke up at 4.30 (on my own!) and started studying. I didn't get much into my head but I think it was better than staying up till super late to study.

I was excused from work and stayed at home to study till 12.30 when my mom came to pick me up. She dropped me off at the Learning Centre (I dont know why they call it that. I personally think that it sounds like some institute for mentally-challenged people. No offence. D:) and I took the test.

Oh, that sorta hot Japanese surfer guy, Yugi (I think), was working that day ^^. I dont think I ever mentioned him to anybody but he looks a bit blurrish but he has such a hot bod sersly. He's all tan and he has long hair. I think he's been living here for quite a while since his English is more fluent than other Japanese students. Enough about him.

I scored 84% on the final.

That's exactly what my older cousin said. And yes, I agree with him. I expected myself to score higher but with the attitude I've been studying with, I think I deserved to be slapped like that. I tried calcualting my final grade by adding the maximum marks for all the tests and my marks and dividing them. It's still 81%.

I'm gonna miss the Math class though. The teacher was so spunky. In a lecture video, he was teaching us about functions and when substituting x=3 into the function:
"Although you can do this manually, but heck, I'm a firm believer of technology so just use your calculator you know?"

And:

"...you can easily find the ends of this beast."
He was referring to ... guess what? A log graph =/=

Yes, my party was I watched 3 discs worth of Kdrama straight after dinner. Let's Go to the Beach is super nice!
I totally fell in love with Junjin when they first introduced him and I was like "Homfg, who the hell are you sexy man? LOLLOLLOLL (sounds like sth Helen would say ^^) At first I didn't like Lee Wan's character because he's the typical, arrogant ssagaji but then the more I watched it, the more I liked him. He's like so ZOMGGGGGGGGGCUTEEEEEANDHOOOOTTTTT!! He's evenly tanned and homg those biceps!

My uncle came over with my cousins that night. The younger boy came! He's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!! Homg I was hogging him all to myself while I was watching dramas. And amazingly, he sat on my lap without moving much and watched it with me!
Before he left my uncle made him give me a high five and when he did, he smiled so cutely! >o< Then I gave him a kiss on the cheek. Aish!
My uncle had brought along some longish preztel thingers...Looks like Char Kway Tiao but it's soft with cinammon and sugar on it. Loved it <3

Friday
Yesterday, we had so much pastry at the office, I thought they were having some party or sth. I woke up at 7 but we were out the door at 7.30. My mom stopped by a bakery and I bought $10.90 worth of breakfast. O_O! I had two chocolate crossaints. Those are totally awesome.

Then when we got to the office, my supervisor was mid-way through a bit of a cream puff and I'm like "Oh no. Someone bought cream puffs."
Sure enough, there was a box of Kamoda's (I think that's the name of the shop) cream puffs sitting on the small table behind me desk. I ate one and it was ok, but then there was too much cream and I got some on my black pants D: So I gave up on those. Then mid-morning, the head boss buys some sushi and his secretary comes to give some to us. I took two ^^

After some of the workers come back from a meeting, someone from another building sends over two boxes of Napples.
After searching online just now, I realise that Napples are actually apple turnovers. Wth, can't people just say that? O_O
I chose the apple over the blueberry cream cheese. It tasted alright but it was still really sweet. And oily. Bleah.

Then in the afternoon, another person comes in with two boxes of scones. I didn't eat that because I was already suffering from indigestion what with all those stuff in the morning.

My mom and I went to the shopping centre across the street and shared a box lunch together. I ate a small side order of Kung Pao Chicken and it wasn't as spicy. I was hoping it would get rid of the sugariness but in the end I only ended up with a lot of phlegm in my mouth. Gyah!

Later in the afternoon, someone delivered new filing cabinets! Wooh! The whole office was helping out to move the files into the new cabinets. It was really heart-warming how everyone helped out. Even the bosses came out to move. I'm helping to make the labels for the cabinets on Monday since I've finished the project I've been working on for the past week ^^ The cabinets are so pretty I feel like hugging them ^^

The president of the Rotaract Club sent me an email and asked me if I was interested in being President elect for the club. I felt totally honoured. I really dont know what she sees in me but she thinks that I should give President a try. I'm really thinking of it because she said she would train me and help me select a good team to work with me. Somehow I have this gut feeling that I can handle this. I feel confident enough to take up the job. Haha I've yet to discuss this with my mom but she did tell me that she doesnt want me being the President. And it's weird because the more she says no, the more I want to try it.
There's an event tmr but I've forgotten what it's about (I have to check my email again). If my mom's not going I'm going. Future President elect should start being more active hehe!

My supervisor lent me a Takeshi Kaneshiro movie, The Returner. Haha I've been spazzing with her at Korean guys since Thursday. She's pretty cool and when I showed her pics of Mike He, Daniel Henney, Won Bin, Lee Wan, Junjin etc, she was like "Ohhh! He's CUTE", "Ohh, look at those biceps!", "How old are they? Aren't there any older ones?", "OH! He's good looking!" LOLLL~! I logged into soompi for her and told her that if she was feeling bored at work she could use my account to look at pics ^^v

Came home and watched some more dramas. I didn't eat dinner because I was so full so I only ate a peach. After my parents went to sleep I switched on my lappie and watched Yunho and Yoochun's part from "We Are Curious About TVXQ", subs courtesy of goe_ss ^^

I was spazzing with Sue the whole time I was watching it and I swear, if I had had watched the vids when I was deciding whether to go with Jae or Min, I would probably have given up on Jaemin on gone with Chun baby instead. I was halfway through Chun's second part when I fell asleep on the bed. It was probably 1AM-ish and at around 2, my mom came barging into my room and told me to sleep properly. Haha, sorry Sue! >.<

Saturday
I couldn't/refused to wake up this morning even when my dad was in the attic making a lot of noise. I only got up and 9.30 and my mom had gone to the clinic for a blood test. My cousin called and I talked to him for about an hour when the battery for the cordless phone went low so I hung up.

My mom came back by the time I was eating brunch and suddenly she holds up this brown squarish package and asks me what it is. Zomg I scared the shit out of myself because I didn't think my package from Loretta would come so fast. But luckily I had rehearsed this in my head beforehand so I looked at her straight in the eyes...and lied.
I am such a bad daugter. And I'm friend-locking this entry just in case. HA!
But thank you drarmp1t! I've only opened the Begin single. I haven't gotten to Asu wa kuru kara. And I dont know since when but that has become one of my favourite songs. It's my alarm clock now and I actually wake up to it better than Junsu's voice. D:

I have been a very good girl today and I did the laundry after brunch, washed the dishes, cooked lunch for my dad and even cooked dinner. My auntie sent me ingredient packets of Singapore curry, rendang, bak ku teh, herbal chicken...omg all the heavenly food. Haha she's "teaching" me how to cook. She wants to build up my interest of cooking rather than having my parents force me (it's some logic I realised today ^^). What drives me more to learn how to cook is that once I can, my parents are less worried about letting me go overseas to study...

Anyway, I tried out the curry and followed the instructions on the box. The curry paste smelled SO GOOD it was heavenly. I had trouble cutting the chicken (it was a whole chicken. I suck at cutting meat because I'm so freaked out that it's the CORPSE of a living thing. -shudders-) so my mom helped me out. I cut the potatoes and made the sauce. Then we just pured everything in together and tada! Beautiful curry! I dont think it's the best curry in the world but it tasted good because:
1. My auntie sent it
2. It was from Singapore
3. I made it myself
It was so good I was practically drinking the sauce! All that calories. It had coconut milk in it.
Sheit >.<
But HA! My father can't control what I eat anymore! ^~^v
But he didn't really like it. But he has no right to complain. Take it or leave it: I'm still learning.

Next week is the end of summer vacation! >.< School starts but I'm so excited! I have to start revising/preparing this week. I want to really excel this semester and hopefully I can learn Japanese well! I even have everything written out in my planner. ^^

It happened.

It totally happened and I can’t believe it did.

I finally say my butt down and watched the FITB Concert at Bukodan right till the very end. And then when they sang Proud…

I cried.

Yes, Mau Wing Ha, the person who can’t really cry during sad movies (ok so A Season for Love was an exception), cried…
because of those wonderfully, beautiful, amazing bastards.

I can’t even begin to put into words everything I felt while watching the concert. I’m not just being emotionally; you can really, really feel it. Being a fan of theirs for almost a year (Atq! We have been fans for almost a year already!), you can see their hardwork and most importantly, their improvement. Yunho’s vocals are amazing now; Changmin’s voice doesn’t waver; Yoochun…I’m in love with his voice; Junsu and Jaejoong are still just as amazing. And their dancing and singing...they are PERFECT.

他們間直是完美無缺的天使門.

I’d do almost anything just to meet them and hear them sing live because just watching them through a computer screen is already enough to get me so emotional…I can’t imagine what it’s like to be at their concerts.

Enough with the sappiness, last week wasn’t really amazing but on Sunday, I went to the beach! For the first time in months or maybe a year more, I went to the beach. It was Kanaha Beach Park situated behind the airport. It’s not the best beach on Maui but it’s a good spot for wind-surfing and wind-sailing. The whole ocean was spotted with wind-surfers and wind-sailers.

The sand was amazingly soft. It felt just like…haha, i dunno…pepper? That’s what it felt like. Or flour. It was really soft.

And even when the surrounding temperature was really hot, there was a lot of wind and the water is super cool and nice.

I guess it’s the first family outing I’ve had in a while and we just sat under the trees, snacked and chatted. I eventually fell asleep lying on the mat because being near the ocean makes me feel totally relaxed, like I really didn’t have to care about my Math 135 final this week and that I had to work later on in the day.

And I took a LOT of pics ^^

Work at the restaurant was fun this week. Time seems to fly by so fast now. The peak hour was super busy but amazingly, I was able to cope. And I’m better at knowing which orders I put in and I write down orders faster too. After the whole peak hour died down, I nearly died too. My hands were shaking for some reason. And the rest of the kitchen people were laughing at me.

Oh and I wore my Fuhua P.E. t-shirt to work! I showed it off to the guy who works with me and he was so amused by the logo. Haha, he was staring so hard at it, to other people it might have looked like he was staring at my chest or sth :X

Singapore’s national day is this Thursday! This is the first year I’m not there to celebrate it in school…or, in fact, anywhere else! I hope to watch the parade online because this year it’s gonna be at Marina Bay!! <3

Grocery shopping

Yesterday was the first time I went grocery shopping with parents in like forever. We stopped by at Costco first because we had coupons and the stuff there are sold in bulk and are much cheaper partly due to the fact that it's wholesale...whatever.

All the things I wanted to buy, my dad refused to pay for them. Like pizza, cherry tomatoes, Prego sauce...

And my mom bought raspberry juice, the really sour kind where you make a totally twisted face when you get it into your mouth. Bleah X:
I went over to the books section and the books there are much cheaper than Borders. I saw "The Devil Wears Prada" and I immediately thought of Min and the Dongs...and how Min admires Anne Hathaway D; (is that how you spell it? I've never taken note xP).
But it was only $4.49 and I was trying to expand my book collection so that when I started school I'd have something to do in my free time. And it was cheap. Plus I could pay for it myself since I had stashed $50 into my pocket before we left the house (Lesson I learned long ago: Always bring cash with you ^^).

I went looking for my parents after picking up the book and I saw them at the cashier and I snuck up on my mom. LOL she jumped a bit :X
Then I placed the book on the belt thing and acted like nothing happened HAHA! Then my dad saw the book and he was like,

"What's that?"

"A book duh."

"Why are you buying it?"

"Because I want to read it."

"You shouldn't buy it because it's such a waste of money. Next time I'll bring you here earlier and let you stay here and read for the whole day. Then you dont have to buy it. So go put it back..."

He drives me crazy sometimes. I just rolled my eyes and put a separator between the book and the stuff they were buying.

Then the guy who was helping to load the things into the cart was watching us this whole time. I forgot if we were talking in Chinese or English but he suddenly turned to me and asked,

"Have you watched the movie yet?"

"Yeah."

"So what makes you want to read the book?"

I was kinda shocked at the question. Like, why can't I read the book? But I didnt want to give a long speech so I just said, "Oh, I like reading" and gave him a big smile. And he shut up. Then I stared him down. HAHAHAAH! He had really small eyes and he had a small forehead. :X
He was so local. Not my type. Dx

Then the interesting part comes. My dad stopped by at Home Depot to buy some stuff and then we went to Safeway because he was telling my mom that he saw an ad in the newspaper that said chickens were on sale for 89 cents.
So we went in and we saw cute tomatoes-on-stems and my dad picked out a few. I wandered off with my mom to the closest aisle and ended up looking at noodles. And I saw SHIN RAMYUN. I got so excited because I haven't eaten those for months and I missed the taste but they were so expensive! >.< So I got another brand of kimchi noodles and jjajangmyun instead.
I saw my dad at the cashier paying for the chicken and tomatoes and I happily dumped the noodles into the cart. And he gave me a pissed look HAHA!
Then the woman was scanning and stuff and the total came out to $48+. My dad was all confused because we were only buying three chickens, 7 packets of noodles, and tomatoes. And the total was $48+.
WTF.

So my dad asked the lady to check and everything and it turns out the chicken that my dad was buying was not the California-grown chickens as stated in the ad. And the noodles turned out to be $1.69 when the tag said 89 cents!
So he was like "You know, we're just gonna leave you know."
And he pushed the cart out and left.

I just find it so amusing and I ended up giggling all the way to the car. Then my dad started his lecturing about false advertising and how they could get sued. And he even left his card there probably and said, "Ahh! They can have it!"

LOLLOLLL. Safeway can be so mean sometimes. There goes my instant noodles D:

I can't say how happy I am this week. I have the FITB Bukodan perf in my hdd and downloaded the DVD rip of the offshot movie of Summer Dream~~~~~

LOL I almost didn't pass by 2 marks. But given that I only studied that morning, that's not bad ^^

This week has been totally hectic, starting from last Friday.

May 11, 2007 (Friday)
Last day of the semester and I skipped work to stay at home to finish that STUPID English essay. Actually it's because I only took a one-hour nap at my table, continued working (obviously to no avail) and freaked my parents out when they woke up at 5.30 am. I went to sleep at 6.00 am and wanted to wake up at 7.30 but ended up waking up at 10.45 instead. =.= So I missed work.

BUT!

I finished it at 4.30 pm! Yays! ENGLISH IS OBERY.
That doesnt include the 2 essays I still owe him WHICH I started done yet ;P

But yeah, summer vacation has started for me already ^^b

I went out with Valerie and we watched "Meet the Robinsons". At first I thought it was a real-persons' movie (T___T) but it turned out to be an animation and I realised...
I'm a sucker for cartoons and animation.
I was really laughing throughout the thing.
Haha, I feel sorry that we didn't watch "Lucky You" but I really like animations ;D And we managed to sneak in a plate lunch and eat inside during the movie. ^o^
I totally can't wait for "Surf's Up" to show xD

Work at restaurant = H E L L
FAMILIES of TENS came in and orderd $100+ worth of food. And then the phone calls keep coming in and there was this guy that started bitching at me because I told him that he'd have to wait for one hour before his order could be ready for pick-up. I mean like, you just had to choose to eat at that restaurant today? Does instant noodles not exist? *rolls eyes*
And because the cook was so busy throughout the night that he didn't cook anything good for me to bring home to eat. I understood but...I was so demoralised that I only ate half of the food and went to sleep D:
Morale of story: Order early or do not eat at all.

May 14, 2007 (Monday)
Woke up early to take permit test. When I got to the DMV thing, there was a LOONNNNGGG line but it turned out to be pretty fast. I waited for about 20 mins before I got called and I was so nervous because last time ~~I forgot~~ my mom misplaced my SS card and I needed one to get approved so after waiting for 45 mins, I couldnt take the damn test and I walked out frickin pissed ~~and cussed for 10 mins straight in all the languages I knew.~~ So this time I triple-checked everything and double-checked while lining up and checked once more while I was waiting for my number to be called. Another thing: no eye candy. D:
LOL that eye testing thing was the one that made me laugh at myself, esp the last two questions where the woman asked which of the objects from the first and second row of signs respectively were more prominent. I just stared and I thought 'Maybe it's a trick question because they're all supposed to look the same,' so I told her 'Haha, I can't tell...' She was nice enough to re-phrase her question and I guessed the one in the first row. But the second one...When I finally saw it, I was so excited. Turns out that the sign appeared bigger than the others and the lady was just smiling at me. Maybe thought I was dumb or sth LOL.
I paid and took the test. I was smiling to myself when I saw those questions I knew the answers to T___T When I finished it I handed it to another lady to mark and I got 2 wrongs at the beginning, then I cleared the middle section but when she got to the last portion she was circling like mad and I'm like 'HOMG NO...' Haha, then that lady looked at me and said, 'Yay, you passed!'

MAU SCORES! YAYS! 25/30 Passing is 24/30.

Then they took a pic and my fringe almost covered my eyes. Sad picture.

After that, my mom got too lazy to pick me up (see how the phrase above is put into almost IMMEDIATE use) and I walked all the way to work. Yes. WALKED. In slippers. Under hot mid-morning sun. It was a 1/2 hour's walk. My mom is lazy and cruel; she could be nice and at least get me a bike wth.

Then I went to the learning centre (study centre) to take my math placement test. I was aiming for a Math135 so I could take that class during summer. That would mean I'd have to get a score of 75% - 100% in Algebra or 0% - 55% in College Algebra.
. . . . .
I got into Math205. Meaning I had a score of 56% - 74% in College Algebra. The girl who told me the results told me that I placed well. I was shocked. And to think I almost did eenie-meenie-minie-mo during the test.
But yays! Math205!
COUNSELLOR! HURRY UP AND COME BACK SO YOU CAN GET ME INTO MATH CLASS! >.<

It's "Animal Show and Tell" at the office this week. Someone found a pair of lost puppies and a small black dog. A homeless man gave one of the ladies a a baby bird. Another colleague's turtles had babies. And it's all happening in the office.
But the puppies are so ADORABLE! Reaminds me of Kim Jung Hoon's eyes. Cute LOL.
And I actually held the baby bird. It's kinda creepy with its feathers just starting to grow out. Like almost naked you know. And its beak is huge compared to its head. But it's so cute because when I was holding it and I covered it with my other hand, it just dozed off! The person taking care of it fed it a lot and it pooped four times and had this ginormous stomach. O__O!

May 15, 2007 (Tuesday)
Today, Jiyeon came by to pass me my PIP. It is frapping SHINY. My first photobook. I was so happy my hands were shaking and I was so scared to get fingerprints on it since my hands were clamy, I stretched my jacket sleeves over my hands to flip the pages.
But it's at my office desk now. I'm still thinking how I should bring it home tomorrow...
I think I'll just bring a backpack....

Haha, today was just amazing. I managed to get a shit load of filing and other stuff done, changed my noisy keyboard to a more quiet one, changed my ancient moust to a one with a scroller and got speakers. FINALLY. Kpop on my computer ;D

And I dont know what to say! Just that finals are next week and I feel like I'm on crack or sth because my heart rate feels extremely abnormal. ;X

I've been trying to start on this English essay for days now and I still can't think of a thesis statement but the wonderful thing about it?
It's due on Monday.
I suck at self-discipline haha.

Besides English I think the rest of my subjects are really good. Like I had my Astro110 Unit Exam last Wednesday and wooohh, I got 90 for it HAHAHA! It's not that hard really. The hardest part of exams though is coming up with the ~~cheat sheet~~ reference sheet. I nearly broke my hand filling up 2 sheets of paper with notes and when I couldn't finish, I just photocopied and shrunk my notes from class ;D

I can't WAIT for summer vacation!
I have a gazillion things I'm planning to do already!

I'm taking Math 135 (Pre-calculus). Yays Math <3

I'm gonna go swimming. I haven't even been near a swimming pool in a long, long, long time.

Lots of things happened this week and I wish I could type out everything but I'd probably get bored of myself. LOLLOLLL!!
I found out some pretty freaky stuff this week. I mentioned about this dollfie girl some posts back and that I saw her two times where she was carrying a doll around. Well, in Astronomy class this week, she sat ALL the way in front in the first row, first seat. She sort of freaks me out (yes, I'm totally mean) and she kept on asking questions in class. Haha, Ji Yeon and I stayed in class because we were talking about the homework and dollfie girl was one of the last too. Ji Yeon was leaving and she said, "Mada" (or "Mata" however Japanese romanisation goes) and I was like "WHUT...O_O" and when she explained to me that it was "See you" in Japanese I was like "Ohhh..."
THEN. Dollfie girl started speaking in Japanese!
AND JI YEON ANSWERED HER IN JAPANESE!
AND DOLLFIE GIRL WAS, "SODESUNE."

OMG.

K, I totally freaked out at that and I was trying to rush out of the room. Unni wasn't there to save me because she already went by the other door! OMO! THEN dollfie girl followed behind me (omg, no duh, because there were only 2 doors and she wasn't going out the other >_>) and being the nice person I am (;DDDDDDDDDD) I held the door open for her and we walked out of the building together LOL.
HAHAHAHAHA! I tell you, I'm a really nice person. I started a conversation with her because it'd be so snobbish of me not to say anything (and I can't give the impression I'm snobbish given the little friends I have on campus...) so I asked for her name.

"We haven't done a proper introduction. I'm Loretta."

"I'm Andy."

"Oh. Andy. How do you spell that?"

"A-N-D-Y. Like Candy. But you can call me whatever you want."

Her name is Andy. That's uhm...
"Haha, then can I call you Candy?"

"Sure."

"Cool."

Some in-between conversation about me studying in Singapore.

"Where's your car?"

"Oh, I have one but haven't learnt how to drive yet. My parents are picking me up. The car's there. You driving home?"

"Oh no. I live at Harbour Lights. I can just walk home."

"Isn't Harbour Lights there (points in opposite direction of car)?"

"Yeah, but I'm just walking you to your car. Just making sure you don't get attacked."

"...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Thanks but who'd attack me?"

"You never know..."

Yup she's weird. And I don't know why but it's funny that even though these people freak me out, I develop a growing curiousity for them to find out why are they like that. In the end, I make friends with them. Like there was this fangirl on dbsg who spoke horrible English whenever she commented and Chulqah and I would friggin shoott at her and snigger (ENGRISH NAZI). There was this one time I posted something and she commented (like she always does) and in the end, I started talking to her and even added her on msn. It was hilarious! She is a bit cucky but it's fun talking to her.
I'm a super hypocrite.
;D

Another fun thing that happened this week was Ji Yeon and I met for lunch on Thursday. I bought chips and cookies and she brought crackers. We sat outside the cafeteria and just talked. It was so fun because we're on the same wavelength (although I'm freakier than her in the downloading and fangirling aspect). We were LOLing and everyone glared at us.
But something interesting about her. When she was young (before she got adopted), she lived with her family in Korea and she had an older brother who would always annoy her and piss her off. Like, she'd be watching TV and suddenly he'd just stand there and taunt her (reminds me of Chulqah and her mom, but without the taunting part^^). She really hated her brother and she'd even pull hair because he was so annoying (LOL I was trying to type annoying but I typed annyong LOLL!).
Then one day, she said to her parents that she hated her brother a lot and that she wanted to kill him. Her parents were like, "Go ahead! Go and try to kill him. See if you can." They were practically laughing in her face because of that silly idea of hers and because she was so young, they thought that she wouldn't do it.

Boy, were they ever so wrong.

Ji yeon ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and backed her brother up in the corner. Everyone was so shocked and stunned. Ji yeon was so angry at that time that she really wanted to stab her brother. She held the knife at his throat and swished the knife dangerously close to his neck.
It was an attempt but it was good enough to make her parents go berserks when she let go of him and they started beating the hell out of her.
I was laughing like shit the whole time she told me the story! I really couldn't believe that a girl of such a young age would do such a thing.
So moral of this story, people:
If you're an older brother, treat your younger sister nicely.
If you're a younger sister, you know what you can always do to your older brother if he gets on your nerves.

LOLOLOLLLOLLOLLOLLLL! I wouldn't get on her angry side!

I haven't posted pictures in a long time so I think I'll post some today!

I'd take pics but it's really dirty. I'll clean it this weekend after it's been serviced.
AND IT HAS A TWO CD CHANGER!!!! HOMG! THAT MEANS DONGBANGNESS EVEN IN THE CAR!!!! LOL!
I'm already thinking of how I should personalise my car. Should I put pillows in the back seat? That's be cute~ HAhHA MAKE CUSHIONS WITH MIN'S CUTIE CUTIE FACE ON IT HAHAHAAHAH!!!! HOMGG!!!

Ji Yeon introduced me to this DBSK fangirl who's a high school senior. HAHA! When she emailed I was like so hype and I started typing and typing and typing like I do when I'm totally excited. It's so funny how I seem like such a friendly person online but my friends say that I looked snobbish and arrogant when they didn't know me.
But I'm not like that! I'm a really nice person! ;DDDDDD

HAHAA I left my comp on yesterday to download TNC Peace! and it finished this morning! YAYS! And my comp didn't die! Just that it was a bit slow and laggy but YAYS!
And I listened to the boys sing A Whole New World. OMG, they are so love. I sent it to my phone and it's going to be my alarm ring tone from now one.
THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!! AND MIN! HIS ENGRISH IS DAMN HOT!!
And I LOVE IT when Jae sings "...a new FANTASTIC point of view". I don't know why but the way he says FANTASTIC, it's like he really means it. LOLLLL BUT SO CUTE!!! I have an urge to listen to it but it's so quiet... ;X

Darns I better go and study my BUSN150. There's an online test which ends next week and I'm gonna get 100% for that one because we get three tries and it's off-class test. I got 100% for the first and I was LOLLOLLOLLL!!! because it's so weird to get 100 after going through secondary school. 100 them seemed just so far off...

P.S. Tonight's ASTRONOMY AGAIN!!! I'M SO EXCITED! Bringing lappie along to watch vids with Ji Yeon Unni YAYS!
